PAYETTE, Idaho (AP) -- Four southwestern teenagers suspected of setting fire to a high school principal's house in retaliation for being suspended appeared in court on Monday.
Two of the boys waived their right to a preliminary hearing where a judge determines if there is enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
The Idaho Statesman reports that preliminary hearings were set for the two other boys. They range in age from 14 to 16 and all are being charged as adults.
Two of the boys are charged with felony arson and felony conspiracy to commit arson. The other two face a charge of felony conspiracy to commit arson.
Investigators believe the three high-schoolers and one middle-schooler started the Feb. 22 blaze that destroyed the home of Payette High School principal Mark Heleker and three cars parked in the driveway. No one was injured.
