The AARP Foundation is providing free, IRS certified, tax assistance for all Idaho taxpayers through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest volunteer-based free tax preparation service. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this free service. It is available to anyone, young or old, AARP member or not. All Tax-Aide volunteers are IRS-certified.
In 2022, over 25,000 volunteers helped 1.2 million taxpayers received more than $1 billion in tax refunds.
The program is offered at approximately 40 sites across the Gem State including senior centers, libraries and other convenient locations.
