Giraffe Laugh still helping families after closure

TREASURE VALLEY, Idaho — A local early learning center is helping families they serve even after closing this week for coronavirus safety. Giraffe Laugh spent part of Tuesday distributing food to families in need.

A service their centers would typically provide for parents picking their young ones up. Now, it has become more important with some out of work or forced to work from home.

"Right now we're serving about two hundred different families, and at least half of those are at risk, and many of them are also hourly employees, and so our concern is for those families and their children, that they're getting their basic needs."

If you are in need or know of someone who is, you can find a food pantry here and contact them directly for their hours at this time.
