KUNA, Idaho — On November 21, a Kuna family lost their home to a fire.

There were no injuries reported, but the family did lose many of their possessions because of the fire.

Matt Coffelt, a paramedic and engineer with the Kuna Rural Fire District, said the Kuna Firefighters Union started the GoFundMe on behalf of Tim Crawford and his family.

"As firefighters and employees of the fire district, we want to take care of one of our own. We asked for their permission to set up the GoFundMe, and they approved. We are just trying to track down the goal of $5,000," Coffelt said. "This year alone has been unprecedented, let alone losing your entire house."

Coffelt said the incident happened on the 4900 block of West Columbia Road around noon. They called in other fire agencies to help put the fire out.

"There's whole on the roofs from what I can see, there was a quite a bit of extensive damage inside the house," Coffelt said.

So far, the Go Fund me has generated more than $4,000.
