BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Governor Brad Little is holding a press conference on Thursday, July 9, discussing Idaho's Kindergarten through 12th grade reopening plan and stage four of Idaho Rebounds.
As of Sunday, Idaho had 7,733 confirmed and probable cases and 93 deaths. Of that, the state is reporting 2,886 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
Ada County went back to a modified stage three of reopening after an increase in cases. Boise Mayor Lauren McLean issued a public health order mandating face coverings in all public places. City officials also recommend face coverings for outdoor places like hiking trails or the Greenbelt where social distancing cannot be ensured.
Yes, masks are required unless you are maintaining six feet of distance from others (when recreating outside we recommend having a mask with you in case you pass others on a trail, the Greenbelt etc.).
