BOISE, Idaho — Governor Brad Little has been busy updating Idahoans on the latest information about COVID-19, but he found time to hand out lunches to truckers Friday. The meals were provided by the Idaho Trucking Association and were handed out at the East Boise Port of Entry along I-84.
The Idaho Trucking Association has been collecting donations from its members to provided lunches for drivers.
"These drivers are risking their own health and their family's health," said Allen Hodges, Idaho Trucking Association President CEO. "They're traveling state to state, they go home to take their time off, and yeah, everybody needs to tell them thank you."
The Idaho Trucking Association has been serving Idaho since 1937. Their mission is to represent the best interest of the trucking industry.
