Greenhurst Road between Southside Boulevard and Marcum Way will be closed starting Monday, June 25th, and is scheduled to last through October.
The city of Nampa will be rebuilding the dangerously deteriorated road, due to its high amount of accidents. The project will add sidewalks, widen shoulders, and add a two-way left turn lane to enhance safety for both drivers and pedestrians.
While motorists will be detoured to Amity Road, residents and local traffic will have access.
Knife River is the contractor on the $1.15 million project.
