The Idaho County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing Montana man that may have fallen into a river.
On April 9th, 2016, Burke DeSpain, 64, of Kalispell, Montana was reported missing at a campsite in the area of Highway 14 at milepost 21.
Burke’s son, Jason, told authorities that when he awoke on Saturday morning, he was unable to find Burke.
Idaho County deputies and search and rescue personnel combed the area searching for clues.
A search dog indicated to authorities that Burke may have gone to the river bank and fallen in after slipping.
The search continued Sunday and again today with family and search and rescue units patrolling the area.
