With summer-like temperatures, it's time for hikers and trail runners to be on the lookout for rattlesnakes, and the same thing goes for their dogs too.
The Idaho Chukar Foundation and Idaho Humane Society are hosting rattlesnake, skunk, and porcupine avoidance training sessions. The event is June 2nd at Julia Davis Park.
You can register your dog for one avoidance session. Experts say multiple training sessions on the same day are too much stimulation for a dog.
There is a fee associated with the course, you can buy your tickets here.
