BOISE, Idaho — This weekend, Idaho Humane Society is inviting you and your four-legged friends to Julia Davis Park for the 27th annual See Spot Walk!

The event normally sees more than 3,000 dogs and their people each year. It's Idaho's largest dog walk and one of the Humane Society's biggest fundraisers of the year.

Your family, along with man's best friend, can enjoy a one-mile dog walk through the park. A 5k Fun Run is also on the schedule. Vendors, a costume contest, a peanut butter eating contest, demonstrations, food and more will also be available at the park.

All the funds go to help the Humane Society care for homeless animals in the community as they work to find them homes. See Spot Walk is Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the Julia Davis Park Band Shell. To sign up, click here.
