BOISE, Idaho — This month, the Idaho Humane Society is gearing up for its 20th annual Feed Frankie's Friends Holiday Pet Care drive. The event collects money to help the Humane Society better serve the animals they rescue each month.

IHS goes through 2200 lbs of dog food and 250 lbs of cat food each month. Feed Frankie's Friends was started by a pet owner who adopted their dog from IHS and wanted to give back. Every dollar collected during the Feed Frankie's Friends drive is spent on food and pet care supplies to feed and protect the animals IHS takes in.

Feed Frankie's Friends starts November 17 online, at the Humane Society and at Northwest Pets locations. You can find out more here.
