BOISE, Idaho — The son of an Idaho woman whose body was discovered wrapped in plastic has been arrested and could face additional charges.
It was reported Wednesday that 65-year-old William Randall Rhoton faces a felony charge of failure to report a death.
Prosecutors say they have not been able to rule out foul play in the death of 97-year-old Barbara Rhoton.
Authorities say her body was found last month in a parked SUV more than a mile from her home in Eagle.
Officials say she had been dead anywhere from a few months to three years.
Prosecutors indicated Wednesday that additional charges are likely to be filed against William Rhoton related to possible use of his mother's financial resources after her death, including a $2,200 monthly Social Security check.
