Idahoans who are looking to ski or snowboard for the rest of this year and into 2017 will want to purchase season passes this week to receive the best deals at local resorts.
Bogus Basin is offering their cheapest deal for season passes from February 15th-21st starting at $299 for adults and $999 for families.
The price did increase $70 compared to years past which Bogus Basin General Manager Brad Wilson attributed to, “The costs to operate the mountain increase each year, but our prices have been unchanged for 18 years. It is time to make an adjustment in order to have future stability. Being non-profit means that every single dollar we receive goes right back into our operations, improvements, and educational programs. These new prices will allow Bogus Basin to fulfill our mission and to maintain this community treasure for the future.”
To compensate for the increased price, Bogus Basin is offering the following perks to those that buy a pass:
• 2 free summer lift passes for individual pass holder ($50 value); 6 summer lift passes for family pass ($150 value) — summer operations will be open approximately 10-12 weekends this summer. Tickets are electronically attached to your pass.
• 2 half price buddy tickets for individual pass holders; 6 half price buddy tickets for family pass ($54 value individual, $162 value for family pass). Electronically attached to your pass; pass holder must be present (in person) to receive the tickets and ticket(s) are printed day of.
• Bogus Basin Nordic season pass ($99 value)
• Total value = $203 individual, over $500 for families
Tamarack Resort lies about 100 miles north of Boise on Highway 55. Bogus Basin has partnered with Tamarack to provide pass holders some exciting opportunities. These include:
