BOISE, Idaho — People looking forward to winter and playing in the snow were treated to a snowmobile show at Expo Idaho.
The show featured all sorts of gear, safety equipment and the newest sleds.
Every year, Snow West Magazine - a publication out of Idaho Falls - brings vendors and people interested in snowmobiles together under one roof in the Treasure Valley.
Steve Janes - a Snow West Editor - has spent 40 years writing about the snowmobile industry and said he looks forward to getting the sleds out into nature every year.
"If you live in Idaho, you better enjoy winter because it's long here. If you don't, you need to move to Arizona. But, if you are living here and you want to enjoy winter, there is no better way than on a snowmobile," said Janes.
He also said this region of Idaho features so many different places to ride and that his favorite part about this high-powered sport is the quiet that comes with being in a winter wonderland with nobody around.
