A driver of a Peterbilt truck was traveling eastbound on I-84 Tuesday when the driver was suddenly startled by his passenger-side window being shattered, according to the Idaho State Police.
The incident happened at milepost 50, near the Cole Road exit in Boise, about 5:30 p.m.
The driver was able to safely pull off the Interstate, and contacted ISP dispatch.
The truck belonged to a commercial transportation company.
“It is not possible to determine at this time the cause of the broken window, but we are asking the public for any additional information to determine whether this is an isolated incident or perhaps part of a pattern,” said ISP spokesman Tim Marsano.
ISP is trying to find out if any similar incidents happened to drivers in the same location within the week of September 11th to September 18th.
