CALDWELL, Idaho — Idaho State Police is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a hit and run crash. The vehicle against pedestrian crash happened on January 1 around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Simplot Boulevard and Paynter Avenue in Caldwell.
Two adults were walking across Simplot Boulevard when a vehicle going west hit one of them. The vehicle is believed to be a Kia or Hyundai passenger car and did not stop, continuing west on Simplot Boulevard. The vehicle is missing a passenger side headlight.
The pedestrian was taken to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise, there is no word on their condition this morning.
