Idaho to receive dogs rescued from Louisiana floods

Posted
The Idaho Humane Society is scheduled to receive dogs rescued from flood-ravaged areas of Louisiana this Wednesday.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the non-profit group known as "Dog is my Co-pilot" will be delivering more than 60 rescued dogs to the humane societies in the Rocky Mountain west.

The floods in Louisiana caused many animal shelters there to become overcrowded with stray dogs.

At this point it's unclear exactly how many animals Idaho will receive.
