BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- State officials say Idaho's unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percent to 3.9 percent in November.

The Idaho Department of Labor announced Friday that growth in manufacturing, administrative, and leisure and hospitality in Idaho was the second fastest in the nation.

The agency says the state's workforce of just over 800,000 puts the labor force participation rate to 64.2 percent.

Officials say that over the past year, Idaho's nonfarm job growth ranked first in the nation with an increase of 4.2 percent.

Officials say that resulted in a record-breaking increase of 27,600 jobs between November 2014 and this month.
