The Idaho Transportation Department is closing lanes off-and-on at the intersection of Beacon and ParkCenter in east Boise. ITD officials say the intermittent lane closures will be in place during the day and night for approximately the next two weeks.
“Lanes will be closed so crews can re-install an island and traffic signal at the intersection of Beacon and ParkCenter. Once the island is complete, a free-running right-turn from ParkCenter onto Beacon will be operational,” ITD spokeswoman Jennifer Gonzalez stated.
The island and traffic signal were removed for the detour of the Broadway Bridge project.
