CALDWELL, Idaho — Idaho State Police are asking for witnesses who may have seen a crash Saturday morning on I-84 to come forward.

It happened around 11:20 a.m. near milepost 22, west of Caldwell.

ISP officials say a 28-year old Caldwell woman was driving in the left lane in a 2009 Acura RDX SUV. A 29-year-old Caldwell man was driving behind in a 2014 Honda Accord.

A black motorcycle and a silver pickup reportedly slowed abruptly in the left lane and turned into the emergency vehicle crossover. Both drivers in the left lane hit their brakes and moved over into the right lane.

A trucker from Washington state was driving in the right lane and was not able to slow in time, striking the rear of the Honda which struck the Acura RDX.

The Honda and the Acura came to rest off the roadway and the semi truck came to a stop on the right shoulder. All drivers were wearing their seatbelts and were not transported.

Idaho State Police are requesting the assistance of any witnesses who may have information on the black motorcycle and silver pickup. The pickup has been described as possibly a silver or gray Dodge Duramax or Chevrolet extended cab.

Anyone who may have dashcam, video footage or information is requested to call Idaho State Police Dispatch at 208-846-7500.
