BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspicious vehicle -- after a shot was reportedly fired on I-84.

Troopers say the shot was fired at another vehicle from someone in a small grey car with heavily tinted windows. It happened around 12:30 Thursday morning near milepost 40, between the Ten Mile Road and Garrity Blvd. exits.

ISP says other vehicles were in the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call ISP Dispatch at 208-846-7500.
