MERIDIAN, Idaho — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crashed on I-84 in Meridian on Thursday. Idaho State Police (ISP) said the crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. on the Meridian Road overpass.

Aguilino Martinez, 37, of Kuna, was traveling south on Meridian Road in a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood when he failed to stop at a red light and entered the intersection. Martinez hit Carlos Moya, 35, of Hailey, who was in a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and Jeromy Steinbach, 47, of Nampa, who was in a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta.

Moya and Steinbach were turning onto the west I-84 onramp with a green light when they were hit by Martinez.

Martinez and Moya were both transported to St. Luke's Meridian by ground ambulances. The intersection was blocked for around one hour.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
