The Idaho Transportation Department invited the media to the Broadway Bridge work zone to showcase the placement of large steel girders which will support the new bridge deck.
The girder placement is expected to end in mid-April.
The Broadway Bridge was built over 50 years ago and the increased vehicle and foot traffic resulted in the decision to rebuild the structure.
