NAMPA, Idaho — The Idaho Transportation Department is launching a safety patrol and towing service starting Friday to keep traffic moving safely through the construction zone in Nampa.
The Safety Service Patrol will operate Monday through Friday during the morning and evening commutes. Disabled vehicles will be towed to the Jackson's parking near the Franklin Blvd interchange. From there, drivers have to make arrangements to move their vehicle within 24 hours.
Although the safety patrol will be searching for disabled vehicles, drivers can still call 911 or *ISP in an emergency.
