ITD dealing with Elk City landslide

A landslide that occurred on February 18th is causing a headache for the Idaho Transportation Department as they try and figure out how remove debris nearly forty feet deep about 10 miles west of Elk City.

ITD is working with geologists and landslide experts to develop a timetable of when the debris will be removed.

There are concerns of what to do with all the debris that is currently covering a 500-foot section of Idaho State Route 14.
