IDAHO — October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Idaho State Police work to raise awareness and provide support for victims with #EndTheCycle.

Idaho State Police Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assualt Response Coordinator, Deb Wetherelt, is working to provide easier access to resources for victims of assault.

“We, as a community, need to gather together and work together to end the violence. Unfortunately, it is too common," said Wetherelt. "It is something that many many Idaho residents face, and it is becoming more severe and is becoming more prevalent."
