MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) -- A District Court judge has agreed to postpone the trial of a man accused of killing three people and wounding another.
The Lewiston Tribune reported that Judge John Stegner agreed Tuesday to cancel the May 2 date for 30-year-old John Lee's trial after hearing both Lee's attorneys and prosecutors needed more time.
A status conference has been set for March 7 to revisit the court's schedule.
Lee, of Moscow, has pleaded not guilty to charges in the deaths of his adoptive mother, 61-year-old Terri Grzebielski; his landlord, 76-year-old David Trail; and an Arby's manager, 47-year-old Belinda Niebuhr.
Police also say Lee injured Michael Chin of Seattle during the Jan. 10 shooting spree.
