A juvenile driver was declared dead at the scene of a two-car crash in Canyon County Saturday afternoon.
According to officials, at approximately 2:37 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle fatality crash on US 95 at the intersection of Klahr Road, approximately one mile north of Parma.
A juvenile was driving westbound on Klahr Rd. in a Ford F150 pickup truck when they attempted to cross the intersection. The vehicle was struck by a southbound Ram pickup truck driven by Joe Sexton, 43, of Parma.
The juvenile driver of the Ford succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash. A juvenile passenger of the Ford pickup was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID.
Joe Sexton and his passenger Laura Sexton, 42, of Parma were not transported.
Next of kin have been notified.
US 95 was blocked for approximately three hours.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
