BOISE, Idaho — Larry H. Miller Dealerships announces its tenth annual “Driving for Coats” community coat, sock, and underwear drive to benefit the homeless community served by the Boise Rescue Mission (BRM). New and gently used coats of all sizes are needed for adults and children to stay warm during the winter months.
In addition, new socks and new underwear are always of need for those served by the resource center. Boise Rescue Mission provides shelter to more than 400 homeless individuals and families each night during the cold winter months.
“We appreciate the effort by Larry H. Miller Dealerships and their customers to provide warm coats for our guests. Many of our guests, even children, come to us without warm clothing,” said Bill Roscoe, president/CEO, Boise Rescue Mission. “These coats are a wonderful way to say we care. LHM employees and customers are great examples of this community’s compassion.”
Now through November 30, members of the public may drop off donations at the following locations:
- Larry H. Miller Honda: 7710 West Gratz Drive, Boise, ID 83709
- Larry H. Miller Subaru: 11196 West Fairview Avenue, Boise, ID 83713
