BOISE, Idaho — Voters in Boise were asked to weigh in on two propositions--both of which deal with major city proposals: a new library, and a downtown stadium- -and voters voted yes on both.
In regards to prop 1, the yes vote means the City of Boise can not undertake any aspect of a library project with expected costs of $25,000,000.00 or more without first obtaining approval by a majority of Boise voters in a future election.

For prop 2, the yes vote means the City of Boise can not participate in any aspect of a sport stadium facility project with expected costs of $5,000,000.00 or more in public and/or private funding without first obtaining approval by a majority of Boise voters in a future election.
