BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A man convicted in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend has been sentenced to life in prison.
KTVB-TV reports that 24-year-old Brandon Bahr received the sentence Friday in 4th District Court and must serve 25 years in prison before becoming eligible for parole.
A jury in April convicted Bahr of first-degree murder and three other charges in the Sept. 23 shooting death of 21-year-old Zacheriah Neil Peterson at the Boise Depot.
Court documents say Bahr had been arguing with his ex-girlfriend and Peterson via text message before they agreed to meet at the Boise Depot
Prosecutors say Bahr stole a gun and used a shoplifted bandanna to hide his face.
