BOISE — We've all heard of curbside delivery for food, but did you know you can order a comedy show right to your doorstep too?
Local comedian, Krystal Moore, is using her platform to spread laughter and joy in people's driveways and on their curbs.
"I'm not easily put down in life, it takes more than a global pandemic to stop me from doing what I want to do and what I want to do is make people laugh," said Moore.
Due to safety concerns from COVID-19, Moore's standup shows were canceled, so she created Curbside Comedy.
"I feel like in darkness is when you need light, and it's times like these that you need to be cheered up," said Moore.
In her shows, everything from the clown she dresses in to the setlist and props she uses is customized to her audience. She can bring the mom jokes, clean act for the kiddos, or even go unfiltered for adults; it's entirely up to the audience.
"It's nice to feel part of the community and to be able to enjoy and laugh at something," said her partner in attendance of the show, Chris Phillips. "Neighbors come out and watch it as well, and we can all sit in our front yards and watch something funny it's awesome."
The comedy shows are free, but donations are encouraged. The only thing Moore truly wants in return is to hear people laugh.
"When I say it's my favorite thing to do, there's nothing that brings me more joy than making people laugh," said Moore.
She is currently booking around one to shows a day, Friday through Sunday. But will work around your schedule to make sure you get the laughs you need.
"There's a lot going on that's hard to deal with, but it's nice to take some time to have fun, and everyone needs to laugh a little more right now."
