BOISE, Idaho — If roughing it in the woods is not your style but "glamping" in a 5-star cabin isn't quite in the budget, one local company has created a sweet spot for people wanting a little bit of both. That sweet spot is called Wandervans. According to Wandervans co-founder August Johnson, his company aims to "take all of the headaches out of the experience so [clients] can focus on the stuff for the trip that's really important."
With 30 vehicles ready to rent, customers have three different sizing options to choose from. For a small fee, all vans can accommodate your four-legged friends. Johnson says this allowance was important to the company because "it's man's best friend so we want you to be able to go on your camping trip and take your best friend."
Each Wandervan is designed and created at the company's downtown location and they plan on keeping it that way, "it means a lot to us here to keep it local, make it local, employ people locally." Johnson adds, "our local customers are what has helped us to be able to grow the business and have two locations."
