MERIDIAN, Idaho — Medical experts are encouraging everyone to stay home for New Year's Eve because of the pandemic, but there are still plenty of things you can do at home, including something that can help feed families in need.

Crave Delivery, a local food delivery service, is featuring a New Year's Eve dinner from the Metropolitan Grill. The meal includes Alaskan King Crab, potatoes, vegetables, lobster mac and cheese, and Prime Rib.

For every Metropolitan Grill holiday dinner purchased by December 31, the Grill and Crave will donate $100 to the Boise Boys and Girls Club to feed families that are struggling.

“I was asking a good friend of mine, Slyvia at the Boys and Girls Club, and was telling her we want to do something for families," said Barry Werner, Crave Delivery co-owner. "That’s what we were really looking for. I'm really passionate about it, and bottom line, it’s about helping families.” The holiday meal is delivered ready to cook and feeds four people.
