Bomb threat cleared at Elmore County Courthouse

UPDATE: At 4:03 pm Elmore County is reporting that the issue has been resolved and that the courthouse is all clear however, all offices will remain closed until further notice.

According to Mountain Home Police Chief Jonathan Thompson, a note with the bomb threat was located near the courthouse at around 2:25 pm. The bomb squad and their service dog went through the area during the lockdown, determining there to be no threat.



The City of Mountain Home is alerting the public to a bomb threat at the Elmore County courthouse which has sent city facilities into a soft lockdown.

Elmore County has confirmed that all downtown offices have been closed until further notice. Those looking for assistance with city services are directed to call the appropriate department.
