MERIDIAN, Idaho — Back in June, we introduced you to Jaycee Holman and her relatively new business, Barkwash. Barkwash is a modern, high-end, yet affordable professional grooming and self wash spot. Located on Locust Grove and Fairview Avenue, you've probably seen it driving around Meridian.

After growing a robust following at Barkwash and listening to the needs of her customers, Holman decided to expand the Bark Idaho brand, saying it was "just a natural extension of the original plan."

Jaycee owned Moxie Java, the coffee shop right next to Barkwash. With the dream of an expansion in the back of her mind, Jaycee decided Moxie Java would be the perfect location for her new venture. Jaycee immediately got to work, and by February 2020, opened Barkmarket.

Barkmarket primarily serves the canines in your life, but don't worry, Jaycee hasn't forgotten about your family's feline, "we're probably about 90% dogs, but we do have about 10% cat products for those families that have both."

You'll find a variety of food, treats, chews, toys, and supplies for your four-legged friends. Whatever you find at Barkmarket, you can rest easy knowing that everything in the market is hand-selected by Jaycee, quality never compromised.

Barkmarket is celebrating its official grand opening on March 6 and 7 you can meet Jaycee and the Barkmarket team from 10 a.m to 7 p.m.
