Discovery Park in south Meridian opened a major new expansion with a ribbon-cutting day on October 27, encouraging the public to enjoy the park's new amenities.
This new expansion more than doubles the size of the park, which now totals around 64 acres, and includes six pickleball courts, two tennis courts, three softball fields, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, a skatepark, a volleyball court, and a shelter with wifi.
