Man arrested after he allegedly waved a handgun at juveniles at The Haunted World

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — At approximately 10:45 p.m. Friday, the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance at The Haunted World in Caldwell. When deputies arrived at the scene, they were informed by on-site security that a man had been detained after reportedly waving a handgun at multiple juveniles following a verbal dispute that occurred earlier in the evening.

According to the Canyon County Sherriff's Office, deputies immediately took control of the scene and began investigating.

The suspect was identified as 37-year-old Joshua K. Lockner of Boise.

During an interview, Lockner admitted to the police that he had pulled a handgun after becoming upset with the juveniles following an argument. CCSO Deputies also reported that Lockner appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the interview, and was slurring his words.

Lockner was taken into custody and booked into the Canyon County Jail on five counts of felony Aggravated Assault and one count of carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, according to the Canyon County Sherriff's Office. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, October 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the Canyon County Courthouse.
