MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) -- A 38-year-old man police say shot a Mountain Home Air Force Base airman at a laundry in southern Idaho has pleaded guilty to aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.

The Idaho Statesman reported in a story on Monday that Lajuan C. Lee made the plea earlier this month in 4th District Court.

Elmore County Prosecutor Kristina Schindele declined to discuss the motive for the Feb. 29 shooting caught on a surveillance camera inside the laundry.

The airman survived the shooting but details of his injuries have not been released.

Lee faces up to 30 years in prison at his sentencing scheduled for Feb. 29.
