Caldwell Police are searching for two suspects in stabbing after an altercation at a house party early Saturday morning.
On July 9, 2016, shortly before 2:00 a.m., the police officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at a house party in the 4800 block of McGee Ave. in Caldwell.
According to witnesses, many people were fighting and throwing beer bottles outside of a residence and in the street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a man in the front yard with an apparent stab wound to the chest.
He was transported to a hospital in Boise. His condition was listed as stable at the time. Police believed from the evidence at the scene that there is a second victim, possibly also stabbed, but left the scene before the officers arrived.
Gang detectives are investigating, Lt. Joey Hoadley said "the attack is possibly gang related."
Caldwell Police are asking the for the public’s help in identifying two potential suspects described as a tall/thin Hispanic male and a short/stocky Hispanic male, both in their late teens or early 20’s that left the scene in an older model grey passenger car.
