A man was taken to the hospital early this morning after a reported stabbing near the Boise State campus. There's no word at this point on the extent of his injuries.
Police have not released many other details but we know the incident took place near the intersection of Joyce St. and Belmont in Boise. That's between Boise Ave. and University Dr. south of campus. Police have left the scene.
A Bronco Alert message was sent to students warning them to avoid the area because of an emergency situation. A second alert let them know officers had left the scene and asked them to contact police if they saw anything suspicious.
