BOISE, Idaho — During Thanksgiving, we celebrate all for which we're thankful with friends, family and lots of food.
A former Boise restaurant owner no longer serves up his signature dishes downtown, but once again, Max Mohammadi cooked up a feast and gathered other food donations to feed those who may have otherwise gone without a meal.
"Look at it, this is amazing group of people, all community involved," Mohammadi said. "All the community givers that come in and does what they can, and really together we can do amazing work."
Max's tradition, nearing three decades now, inspired the creation of a local organization called Maxgiving.
It helps raise money for nonprofits.
