The jackpot for Friday night’s Mega Millions draw has been increased to an estimated $540,000,000 for the annuity prize -- or a one-time cash payout of $380,000,000.
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night remains at $288 million, Idaho Lottery officials said.
“As the draws get closer, some retail locations may experience higher than normal volumes of player traffic. Players are advised to plan ahead as there may be lines to purchase tickets later in the day,” Idaho Lottery spokesman Dave Workman said.
Players have until 7:55 p.m. MT on Friday evening to purchase a ticket to participate in the Mega Millions draw, and 7:55 p.m. MT on Saturday night for the Powerball draw.
