MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Meridian Food Bank is teaming up with Big Al's for its 4th annual community bowling event! Knock Down Hunger raises money for the Food Bank's Backpack Program.
During the 2018/2019 school year, the Meridian Food Bank provided a total of more than 20,000 weekend food packs to children in the West Ada School District who otherwise might have gone hungry. By the end of the school year, the program was helping more than 600 kids every weekend.
The night of family-friendly fun includes two hours of bowling, a pizza buffet with salad and soft drinks, live and silent auctions and raffle items. It's all happening at Big Al's in Meridian Tuesday night from 6 to 9. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30 per person. More information can be found here.
