RUPERT, Idaho — The Minidoka School District is honoring teachers in a sweet way for Teacher Appreciation Week!
School administrators are handing out cookies from 1:30 to 4:30 Tuesday afternoon in Rupert Square.
The school district says it's a way to thank teachers for all the hard work they do. The district says this year's Teacher Appreciation Week is especially important for parents. The district says they've seen more and more parents reaching out to teachers to thank them for what they do--especially as parents begin adapting to helping their children learn online.
The district plans to hold events all week--many of which have been organized by the school's PTO.
