Teachers in the Minidoka School District are sending their students a message of love and positivity through a new, weekly video called the "Minidoka Minute."
During the video, each teacher takes the time to say one thing they miss about their students now that COVID-19 concerns has everyone teaching and learning from home.
The district says the idea is to make the transition to online learning a little easier, and to give the teachers a way to continue making connections with their students.
Some of the things the teachers miss most are the smiles of the students and answering their questions. One teacher says she even misses being called "mom" accidentally by her students.
April 10th's Minidoka Minute was a message from the students to their teachers.
The district plans to put out a new Minidoka Minute every Friday on their Facebook page.
