CALDWELL-- Police confirmed three missing children from Caldwell have been found safe in Vail, Colorado.

Police say the Colorado State Patrol have located 10-year-old Lewis "Louie" Dunn, 9-year-old Kaylee Dunn and 6-year-old Kaydn Simon and suspects just outside of Vail.

Jason "Travis" Simon and Sarah Joy VanOcker-Dunn are in custody. The children are in the care of local child protection services.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday for the children, nearly two weeks after law enforcement began looking for them.

Police believed the adults left Idaho with the children after they realized detectives were looking for Simon in connection with a child pornography investigation.

Simon is charged with sexual abuse of a child, and VanOcker-Dunn is being sought on a charge of custodial interference.

Caldwell detectives will now travel to Colorado to continue the investigation.
