Mother Nature gives Idaho a "break" from crazy weather

NAMPA. IDAHO — This weekend was filled with weather watches and warnings. On Saturday, places like Mountain Home dealt with severe weather, with wind speeds hitting 60mph and hail the size of ping pong balls. McCall and Stanley were at high risk of a wildfire due to persistent lightning storms and little rainfall.

Luckily, all of the areas can take a breath as Mother Nature has decided to gift the Gem State with "sunny and clear" weather throughout the Treasure Valley, Magic Valley, and our mountains.

In the Treasure Valley, we'll see three 90-degree days Tuesday through Thursday, but come Friday a "cool-down" sets in and we can all enjoy a weekend with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid to high 50s.
