You know you've made it when your artwork makes the Google Doodle. A student at Mountain View High School could soon have her art on the Google homepage for hundreds of millions to see.

Google just announced the 53 state and territory winners in it's ninth annual Doodle Four Google Competition.
The nationwide contest picked one winner from each state to redesign the Google logo inspired by the theme "What I see for the future."

The Mountain View High senior's artwork depicts mankind making its next great leap in space -- to mars.

"I did it with water color, pen and ink, colored pencils to blend in the colors. And it took me about, at least a week," said Alejandra Dahlmeir-Santiago, Mountain View High School student.

Voting continues for the best national doodle until March sixth on the Google website. The winner will be chosen March 31st.

The national winner will take home a $30,000 college scholarship and his or her school will receive a $50,000 Google for education grant.
