The Mountain West became the latest conference to postpone its football media days on Monday afternoon.

The event was scheduled to be held in a virtual format on July 27-29. In a press release Monday, the conference announced it has been delayed until further notice and didn’t give a time table for rescheduling the event, saying only those decisions will be made “at the appropriate time.”

The Pac-12 also announced Monday that it was postponing its media days, which were set for July 29-31. On Thursday, the Big 12 announced its media days were postponed until Aug. 3, and the ACC postponed its event indefinitely last Monday.

The Mountain West will release its media poll and preseason all-conference teams this week, beginning Tuesday with the predicted order of finish.

The preseason All-Mountain West team will follow on Wednesday, and the preseason offensive, defensive and special teams players of the year will be announced on Thursday.

The Boise State football team began organized team activities last Monday, and the Broncos are scheduled to open the season Sept. 5 at home against Georgia Southern.
